Tim Jackson is an acclaimed director and choreographer working internationally, including in the West End, Off-Broadway, and on Broadway. Specialising in the development of new work, Tim recently directed and choreographed the new musical Two Strangers (Carry A Cake Across New York) at American Repertory Theater, following its celebrated run in the West End.
Recent projects include David Baddiel and Dan Gillespie Sell’s new musical The Parent Agency, Dylan Mulvaney’s one-woman show Faghag, and directing and co-choreographing the UK premiere of Something Rotten! in concert at Drury Lane in the West End.
Tim choreographed the Tony Award-winning Broadway production of Merrily We Roll Along starring Daniel Radcliffe, Jonathan Groff and Lindsay Mendez, and choreographed Neil Patrick Harris as the Toymaker in Doctor Who: The Giggle (BBC/Disney+).
Tim trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, and has a degree in Music from Oxford University, with a first in Orchestration. Tim has also worked in the West End as a Musical Director and Arranger, and is a singing coach, including working with Bill Nighy for his Oscar-nominated performance in the feature film Living. As a performer, Tim and the West End cast of Sunset Boulevard were nominated for Best Company at The 33rd Olivier Awards.
